2. The story behind
The idea of putting this platform in place in Cyprus came after a struggle to find on the Internet someone qualified to help repair a broken refrigerator, failed.
Newly established in Limassol back in the years 2013 and without any landmarks, the promoter thought that the most efficient way to find a refrigerator repairer in town would be to do an Internet search. His overwhelming enthusiasm quickly turned into disappointment when, 2 hours after starting his quest, he could not find a single person to contact. He finally resolved himself to appeal to a colleague, who called a friend, who gave him the contact of an acquaintance who knew someone to call for any cold and air conditioning problem.
This episode convinced him that, to his fellow Cypriots, he has the duty to help them easily find people who can assist and/or help them with any task or job they may have. Therefore, anyone in need of a babysitter, music lessons, a plumber, a tax advisor, a painter, a personal coach, an interior decorator, a manicure, etc. can simply visit the website for free, enter their search criteria, find and contact the person who will help them anywhere on the Island without any intermediary. In the same way, people wanting to make an extra income can register on the website and propose their services.
This platform therefore aspires to create a condition whereby anybody in search of any type of service will find it at a click of a button on a computer, a handy man and/or a professional who will render him service.
